When you are fundraising for your team and our collective mission, remember that you are what make us the largest grassroots organization for breast health in the world. You are the ambassadors to our local community—you can reach people that we cannot, because you are their personal connection to this cause.

Fundraising Checklist

• Register Today. The sooner you get started, the easier it is to raise funds!
• Set Your Personal Goal. The sky’s the limit! We suggest you take the Sweet 16 Challenge by asking 16 friends for $20 for a total of $320. Once you’ve hit your fundraising goal – aim even higher.
• Log into your Participant Center where you can send fundraising emails, and create a personal fundraising web page. Emails sent from your Participant Center will include a link to your personal web page, enabling people to donate to you directly.
• List Your Potential Donors. Make sure you include the follow people:
  Friends 
  Neighbors 
  Grocer 
  Landlord
  Doctor  
  Realtor
  Hair Stylist

Fundraising is Easy with Online Tools!

When you registered for the Race you automatically receive your own fundraising website. The Participant Center gives you access to online tools that you will need to start fundraising:

• Personal Webpage - to post photos and your personal story

• Email - complete with several pre-crafted messages to send to friends and family

• Address Book – easy feature helps you import contacts from your personal email account

• Progress Center – to track the status of your emails and donations

Start now by logging in, and encouraging everyone you know to visit your site, see what you are doing in the fight against breast cancer and make a donation on your behalf.
