A: CLICK HERE and scroll to the boxes marked "Forgot my …" fill in the appropriate information and your username or password will be emailed to you. If you still have problems, please email us at info@komennctriangle.org.
Q: What is a Personal Page?
A: A personal page is an online promotional tool for your use when asking your friends and family to join your team or sponsor you by making a donation. Once you sign up for an event online, by default, you will have a personal page created for you. You have the option of personalizing this page by going to your participant center. You will be able to customize images, text and the style/color layout of the page.
Q: By default I have a personal page, do I have to change it?
A: Once you sign up for the Race online, by default, you will have a personal page created for you. A compelling personal page attracts and engages supporters. While you can spread the word using customized e-mail solicitations, your personal campaign page can be your own creative expression of your commitment to the cause. Customize your page by selecting the layout and style that work best for you. Utilize the elements of text, photo and status indicators to their fullest advantage.
Q: What is the difference between making my personal page private or public?
A: By default, a personal page is Public, meaning your name will appear in the participant search list, and anyone accessing the site will be able to support you. Setting your personal page to Private means your name will not appear in the participant search list, and only people you personally invite will be able to support you.
Q: Do I have to collect donations to participate in the Race?
A: No, you do not have to collect donations to participate in the Race, however we encourage everyone to raise as much as you can for the fight against breast cancer. If every participant collected just $125 in donations, we would raise more than $3 million to battle this devastating disease!
Q: Where does my money go?
A: We maintain the philosophy of “what is raised here stays here” with 75 percent of net proceeds being used for local programs, and 25 percent used to fund breast cancer research nationally. The Komen NC Triangle Affiliate serves 19 counties in North Carolina. Counties include Caswell, Chatham, Durham, Edgecombe, Franklin, Granville, Halifax, Harnett, Johnston, Lee, Nash, Northampton, Moore, Orange, Person, Scotland, Vance, and Wake. Many of the counties outside of our service area share health services and resources with our current affiliate counties. This means that NC Triangle funds impact communities that span beyond our designated service area.
Q: How can friends and family make an online donation to me as a Race or team participant?
A: Friends and family can locate a Participant or Team by CLICKING THIS LINK
Q: How do I enter my offline donations in my Participant Center?
A: When you receive a cash or check donation, you can enter it in your Participant Center so that your fundraising thermometer changes. Log into your Participant Center, click on "My Progress" on the right and find the link "Enter Gifts Received Offline." Click that link and then enter each offline gift received. Mail your offline donations to the following address or drop them off at the Donations tent during Race weekend. Be sure to mark your donations so they get credited correctly.

Q: I am a volunteer. Do I have to pay to enter the Race?
A: You do not have to register for the Race, but we would like to encourage you to register and fundraise for us. If all of our volunteers registered and raised $100 each, we could raise nearly $100,000 to go toward our mission of ending breast cancer forever!
