Ways to Participate

• Recreational Walk | Run
  Raise funds and awareness to end breast cancer forever. Register today to walk with us. If you would like your participation timed, you must register as a runner.
• Competitive 5k
  Registered runners will receive a timing chip in their Event Kit. Register to run today.
• Kids Dash - Sponsored by Time Warner Cable
  You don’t have to be a grown-up to raise money to end breast cancer. On Race Day, we’ll have a special short course just for kids 5 and under.
• Sleep In for the Cure®
  Can’t lace up your walking shoes? You can still raise money for the cures. Register to Sleep in for the Cure and we’ll send you a comfy Komen Global Race for the Cure T-shirt to snooze the day away in.
• Survivors
  Whether you register as a walker, runner or sleeper, if you’re a breast cancer survivor (and indicate as such on your registration form) you will receive a pink Race T-shirt, hat and bib on Race Day. You will also be invited to participate in a special honorary ceremony the morning of Race Day.
• Teams
  Multiply your impact on the cause by forming a team for the Komen Race for the Cure. Bring together friends, family, co-workers, neighbors or club members to join the fight to end breast cancer. Teams can consist of two or more walkers, runners, sleepers and kids. When you register your team, you will have an opportunity to select a division (for example, corporate, friend/family, armed forces, etc.). The top fundraising team in each division will receive special recognition at the Race. Check out the latest standings for each team division.
• Volunteer
  The success of the Komen Race depends heavily on the support we receive from volunteers in the months leading up to the Race and on Race Day. There are many ways you can get involved.
