Teams are the backbone of the Komen NC Triangle Race for the Cure®. Over the past ten years, team captains have proven to be incredible leaders in helping us to build participation in the Race. We look forward to your help in making the 2008 Race our largest and most successful ever! Our amazing team captains, like you, have helped to grow our Race to a participation level of more than 22,000 and a fundraising level of more than $1.6 million. For the 12th Annual event, our goal is to have 23,000 participants and to break the $2 million mark. With your help, we can make that happen!

What is a Team?

A team is a group of at least 10 people who register as teammates for the Race. Online registration will be available Mid-March! Paper registrations will be available in April, make sure to include your team name and return paper forms to your captain before Team Storefront. While paper registrations are available we strongly encourage online registration. Remember online registration saves you $5.

Who Can form a Team?

ANYONE! Form a team with your colleagues, neighbors, church members, support group, friends, family or school.

Why Are Teams Important?

For participants, being part of a team adds a whole new dimension to participating in the Race. It is a wonderful community event to share with others. For organizations and businesses, having a team at the Race is a great way to build community among members and/or employees. And for Komen, teams are the largest source of donations to support our important cause.
